Now in its sixth year of publication, Celebrate Gettysburg highlights the unique people, places and events that make Gettysburg and Adams County, Pennsylvania such a special place to call home and to visit. In each bimonthly issue, Celebrate Gettysburg features in-depth articles, stunning photography and recurring departments commemorating modern life in a historic town.
Celebrate Gettysburg was launched in 2007 by Jessica and Troy Dean, both lifelong residents of Adams County. Troy is the creative director and Jessica serves as art director for Graphcom Creative in Gettysburg. Today, Celebrate Gettysburg has a readership of more than 45,000 with more than 800 local, national and international subscribers.
- Each March/April issue of Celebrate Gettysburg covers the subject of gardening as a theme. In the March/April 2011 issue, herb gardening was the focus for the gardening feature story.
- From a cover photo showcasing the beauty of culinary herbs to the herb gardening feature story, the issue offers inspiration and information for novice and seasoned backyard gardeners complemented by strong photography – a hallmark of Celebrate Gettysburg.
- The Advertising Federation of Greater Frederick presented Celebrate Gettysburg with a silver ADDY award in 2012 for the overall visual design and creative direction for the entire March/April 2011 issue.
