Now in its sixth year of publication, Celebrate Gettysburg highlights the unique people, places and events that make Gettysburg and Adams County, Pennsylvania such a special place to call home and to visit. In each bimonthly issue, Celebrate Gettysburg features in-depth articles, stunning photography and recurring departments commemorating modern life in a historic town.
Celebrate Gettysburg was launched in 2007 by Jessica and Troy Dean, both lifelong residents of Adams County. Troy is the creative director and Jessica serves as art director for Graphcom Creative in Gettysburg. Today, Celebrate Gettysburg has a readership of more than 45,000 with more than 800 local, national and international subscribers.
- Each March/April issue of Celebrate Gettysburg covers the subject of gardening as a theme. In the March/April 2010 issue, a feature story, “Produce Your Own Produce,” shared how-to information for starting a vegetable garden.
- Stunning photographs complement well-researched informative stories covering topics ranging from lifestyle pursuits (“Herb Gardening Primer”) to the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg (“Paying Homage to History”).
- The Advertising Federation of Greater Frederick presented Celebrate Gettysburg with a silver ADDY award in 2011 for the visual design and art for the “Produce Your Own Produce” gardening feature story.
