The Gettysburg Festival is a nonprofit cultural tourism initiative celebrating arts, culture and cuisine. The festival regularly attracts more than 23,000 attendees from 37 states. In 2012, more than 100 events were held during a 10-day period in June. The Gettysburg Festival has featured nationally renowned arts and cultural performers including Straight No Chaser, comedian Bob Newhart, the Robert Cray Band and Shemekia Copeland.
- Graphcom Creative has consistently provided the Gettysburg Festival with a comprehensive advertising and marketing campaign to reach the festival’s core audiences consisting of cultural and historical tourists and local arts patrons. In 2011, Graphcom Creative developed a distinct brand identity through graphic design that captured the “Americana spirit” highlighting American arts, culture and cuisine within the historical backdrop of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
- Graphcom Creative and the Gettysburg Festival has collaborated on the design and production of rack brochures, comprehensive program guide, posters, e-mail newsletters and an advertising design. All elements were designed to leverage core Gettysburg Festival messaging and program offerings across multiple media forms.
- In 2011, members of the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA) awarded the Gettysburg Festival with seven Pinnacle awards in categories including best e-newsletter, promotional poster, event program and newspaper display ad.
